Mako: Sharkforce's Frontier Workforce AI
Mako is Sharkforce's proprietary large language model, purpose-built for workforce execution. It powers every AI-driven feature across the platform. In internal benchmarks, Mako outperforms frontier models on tool usage within the Sharkforce environment, delivering up to 70% faster task execution compared to general-purpose models. It is not a wrapper. It is built for work.

Documents (formerly Knowledge Base)
- Renamed and rebuilt from the ground up to serve multiple purposes across the platform.
- Mako references documents during AI validation to evaluate work against manager-defined requirements.

AI Task Validation: Rebuilt Core Engine
- Multi-agent orchestration with bulk processing support.
- Accepts images, documents, and video. Video is rolling out to Enterprise plan organizations.
- Powered by Mako for faster, more accurate, and context-aware validation.
- Users can attach notes alongside their submissions to provide Mako with additional context. Notes are surfaced to admins with concerns flagged.
- Notes can be enabled or disabled per task by the admin.
- Minimum and maximum file requirements per task, with up to 15 files per submission.
- Granular upload controls: camera capture only, gallery only, or both.
- Admin task preview mode lets admins test how Mako handles submissions without consuming daily limits.
- Duplicate image detection blocks reuse of identical images and can be toggled per task.
- Live Assistance is rolling out in the coming weeks with real-time conversation and camera support during active shifts. It is currently in internal beta with opt-in access for paid plan users.

Mobile App: Early Access
The mobile app is now in early access. It is the first dedicated mobile experience for shift workers interacting with Mako, submitting validations, navigating zones, and managing their work.
